Our Belief
We believe the key to success is encompassing a high standard of the Big E. The Big E standing for efficiency. The Big E means the relationship of outputs (services produced) to inputs (resources used to produce the services).
Increasing efficiency is a matter of achieving the same outputs with fewer resources or more outputs for the same amount of resources. Yet the keyword to business success is encircling. Efficiency achieved in one part of the business loses all its impact if another part is inefficient. It is possible that the inefficiency of one department could erode the achievements of other departments and deprive shareholders of expected dividends.
Most businessmen measure success by the bottom line. When it is black, everything is fine, everything is efficient, or at least thought of as being that way. When it is red, they'll put more into it, money, time, effort, and try to do better next year. It might work, it might not. A better option is to find out where performance is not up to scratch and rectify it from there.
There are other factors at play, and not all entirely in the hands of the business person, however these can be taken into consideration and allowed for. Everyone is aware of the economic woes of the world today. If it is that bad, how come there are still businesses around? Some of them are posting profits with, not just six or seven, but with eight and nine figures? They must be doing something right. The usual notion is they are big and can afford to ride the recession out. That could be part truth, but they are simply great examples of being efficient! They all have what REQUAL refers to as The Big E.
